Micropyschic, exhibited at ICA London. Show: Laptop Lovers – 4.12.03 – 10.1.04
Micropsychic was a project I developed to gain a better understanding of the way people communicate in real time over computer networks. It was presented twice, first in an alpha state at an event at the old, Waygood Gallery In Newcastle Upon Tyne and then formally as a live event and part of an exhibition called Laptop Lovers at the ICA, London. The work was constructed around communication in a simple chat room between a client at a computer in the gallery space and a fortune teller in a remote location.
