John Parker first began taking photographs as a child in the early 1960s with some of his earliest images being of the North East, captured with a camera from the 1920s. He later progressed to 35mm and after getting involved with Nottingham-based fanzine Way Ahead and a London-based TV production company, captured performances by artists ranging from Van Morrison to Siouxsie and the Banshees. From this point, John began to build an incredible portfolio of images from iconic acts from the 1970s and 80s before a change of career.
